The initial impression is of a full-bodied wine and is somewhat unsettling, indicating that grapes were harvested during the heat wave – the Sauvignon Gris grapes were harvested on the 12th of August, which, added to the Sauvignon Blanc employed here, makes up 23% of the blend, the rest being Sémillon – this 2003 is nonetheless genuine classic Bordeaux white. You fall in love straight away with its lovely yellow colour. Very complex in the way its flavours are expressed, with floral notes and hints of almonds, it is chewy enough to be able to accompany fish dishes with sauce. |

Couleur jaune paille pâle. Nez très fruité dominé par le Sauvignon avec des arômes typiques de pamplemousse, d'ananas bien relevés par une pointe torréfiée discrète et fondue.
La bouche est franche, aromatique à souhait et très fraîche. Une très belle réussite. |
